AVANT LA NUIT - 𝘓𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘌𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯

We a pleased to present Avant la Nuit, one of two fragrances by emerging French perfumer Siann Gobin. Siann undertook her training at the esteemed Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France, and completed her studies with an internship with us in 2023. Siann's explorations with a strictly natural pallet led to the development of two fragrances; Avant la Nuit (between night and day) and Terre et Mer (between land and sea).


"Avant la Nuit captures a specific moment of the day; dusk. It’s a moment of plenitude and calm, when the sun sets on the day we’ve just spent. It’s after a beautiful summer’s day, when the sun brings its last rays of warmth. The sky is tinged with an orange-yellow hue, reflected in the sparkling cognac, spicy cinnamon and fruity notes of peach and plum. Facing us, the sun continues its eternal journey, the sky darkens and takes on a burning red tone, reflected in notes of dried fruits and tobacco. The sun caresses our skin one last time before vanishing over the horizon, leaving behind a pale pink glow that fades to make way for the stars. The summer heat softens and envelops us, like the roundness of sandalwood and amber accord." Siann Gobin

We package our perfumes in a way that is both beautiful and sustainably minded. Our Italian glass perfume bottles are 100% recyclable and presented in 100% recyclable or compostable paper packaging made locally. The outer packaging is an envelope hand-made in Melbourne by one of the only envelope manufacturers. The blind debossed detail on the envelope and information card are letter-pressed locally, on the same luxurious FSC® Certified paper stock used for the envelope.
